Not exactly news, but certainly interesting to have the source of those viewing requests come out and give data on the performance of agents (their customers).
There have been attempts to move agents onto online booking systems, but those just forward an email on; and agents are not very good at email, what with being stuck at their desks all day. Maybe if they received a Facebook message...
One agent I spoke to said: "We ignore emails from tenants and buyers; if they want the property that much, they'll give us a call."
With this in mind, maybe if they received an instant SMS message with the viewing request that just required a text response of 'yes' or 'no', that would be very compelling; for both agents and property viewers.
